Nolan spent most of his childhood right here in Cleveland. He professed faith in Jesus at 8 years old, and has grown in the grace and knowledge of Jesus ever since. He learned from early childhood the priority of the Church from his parents as they committed to worship, fellowship, Bible study, and service in the Body of Christ.

Nolan married his high school sweetheart, Cara, and God has blessed them with three boys, Lincoln, Emmett, and Crosby. Outside of his salvation, he considers his family as God’s most precious gift in his life.

God called Nolan into the ministry soon after he graduated from UTC with a Bachelor’s in Biology. After a few years serving, God led his family to North Carolina to attend seminary at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, pursuing a Masters in Divinity, where he also served as a youth pastor. After five years in North Carolina, the Lord led he and his family to Woodbridge, VA, where he served as a youth pastor while completing his MDiv. After five and a half years in Virginia, God called Nolan to be the lead pastor of Avenue Church, where he has been serving since January of 2021.

Nolan’s greatest desire is to know God and make Him known. He understands that we all have a place in the Body of Christ with individual Kingdom assignments. His heart and prayer is for the Church to understand God’s call on their life, to love Jesus with everything they are, and to lead their families, workplace, and community to know Jesus Christ as Lord of all.
